ALL is a non-profit organization that encourages visual, literary, and performing artists to explore and develop their craft, and provides a supportive and challenging environment in which ideas can be shared. We offer a rich variety of educational programs and cultural outreach projects, in addition to regularly showcasing the work of both established and emerging artists and writers.
Madison Storytellers believes that telling stories is the one thing that connects us as humans. We aim to create a community where storytelling is accessible—where everyone is empowered to participate and feel comfortable sharing their truth, in any form. We create space for storytellers to grow and collaborate, and we challenge our audiences to engage in conversation.
Charles Payne, M. Ed is from one of Michigan's many motor cities. He is the firstborn of a strict father and naïve mother. As a child, he loved hearing the sound of Paul Harvey’s voice, whose innate ability to describe every intricate detail truly inspired Charles to tell stories himself. And yes, he can’t wait to give you the rest of the story.
